DFWW Club History Empty DFWW Club History

Welcome to the best account of how Drive Faster World Wide came to be. (this story may not be accurate, please let me know if i have missed something or i simply did not get the details right or just was unaware.)

Drive Faster World Wide founded from four racing clubs joining together on Forza Motorsport 4, with the name coming together from the individual clubs banning together.

Sir John Raptor founded a club Forza Underground (4zaU)

Brute Terror founded a club Toe Tag racing (TTR)

Azone founded a club "Drive Fast or DIE" (DFOD)

Baby Hueys59 founded World Wide Gamers (WwG)

Glory Days of TAG!
DFWW was born in the fires of the A class Tag Virus Lobbies on Forza Motorsport 4 play ground. This style of racing kept racing fun while pushing the drivers to their best. Competition with each other allowed for unique driver friendships as we didn't care what kind of car you drove, or what style you had on the road.... ... as long as you could keep from getting tagged or could chase down the "uninfected." Many times DFWW and friends had control of the tag lobby in numbers so we could kick out the players that would sit around doing nothing or simply corner bomb everyone else.
With unique/unicorn cars to share in the Club Garage everyone could try someone's tune, build, or paint with no cost in CR to the player and a anyone can play with us policy, our recruiting numbers went up with more drivers joining all the time, of course there is always some turn around in numbers.

Enter the competitive World of Virtual-Motorsports (V.M.)
Eventually while going through the Turn 10 Forums Baby Hueys59 found out about a forum/website called Virtual Motorsport where drivers have to commit to rule of racing, register, acquire a certified racing number, and sign up for a series of racing events with strict rules on car build and livery. this new challenge was exciting for some DFWW club members while other showed no interest and only just wanted to play tag. so the club became more than a Tag Club. DFWW proceeded to recruit both tag drivers and competitive drivers, with both enjoying both sides of the racing world.

DFWW competed in many V.M. Race series and with inspiration from the experiences we had and working with other clubs and their series DFWW wanted to host their own competitive series. Baby Hueys59 spearheaded the idea of hosting and with help from other club members with testing and logistics DFWW successfully hosted Both a Trans-Am and Street Legal Series. these can still be seen on the old website. (Link below)

honorable mention to Club EZT goes here for helping the newbies out and assisting with

The fall of V.M., Forza community and the struggles of DFWW.

with the new invention of the XBOX one and internal struggles of the forum V.M. the community it built up was split with drivers going to the new platform with Forza Motorsport 5 and the rest staying with Motorsport 4. Motorsport 5 had its problems and not many DFWW Club members played on forza 5. As time went on more and more DFWW club members disappeared from Xbox as different games came out and as the real world life happens. it seemed as if DFWW would not ever be anything more than Forza 4 Club. only a few club members played other games together or kept in touch.

Picking the DFWW off the ground.
As Forza Motorsport 7 came out a few drivers picked it up and started racing again working with league Racing to get that competitive feel back and Forza Horizon 4 for the more relaxed driving of the old Tag games DFWW is at the time of this writing (2/24/19) trying to get the old drivers back with the help of former friends and club members to launch the beloved Trans-Am series.

Hopefully this forum we are on now will categorize our next Chapter of Drive Faster World Wide.
